SheetGenius, Inc. publishes a portfolio of software products. These terms cover the company, this site, and purchases made from us. Each product may add its own terms, and those control for that product.

Who you are contracting with
SheetGenius, Inc. is a Delaware corporation, operating from California, and is the company behind every product in the portfolio. Product names such as BitterClip, Job Timer, and SheetGenius are names of software, not separate companies. When you buy a subscription or a one-time purchase from any of them, your agreement is with SheetGenius, Inc.

A product you use may publish its own terms of service covering how that product works, what you may upload, and what it does with your content. Where a product’s terms differ from this page, the product’s terms control for that product.

Purchases, billing, and cancellation

What you agree to pay
Prices, billing periods, trial terms, included allowances, and renewal behavior are the ones shown at checkout or in the product at the time you buy. A trial that requires a card states what will be charged and when, before you start it.

How payment is processed
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Charges from any of our products appear on your statement as SHEETGENIUS APPS.

Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancel in the product’s billing settings; cancellation stops the next renewal and does not retroactively refund a period already started.

Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to issue a credit or refund. If a charge looks wrong to you, write to us before disputing it and we will look at the record with you.
Accounts and acceptable use

Your account
Give accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. We may limit, suspend, or end access to an account that is unsafe, abusive, unpaid, or in breach of these terms.

Use the products lawfully
Do not use our software to infringe rights, violate privacy, harass people, distribute malware, bypass a platform’s rules, or publish unlawful material. Do not probe, attack, resell, or misuse the products or the services behind them.

Your content stays yours
You keep your rights in what you upload or create. You grant us only the rights needed to run the product for you, and you are responsible for having permission to use the material you bring.
Changes and availability
Products change. We may add, alter, or retire features, plans, and integrations, and we depend on infrastructure and third-party services we do not control, so we cannot promise uninterrupted operation. When a product is retired we will give the notice we reasonably can and describe how to get your work out.
Disclaimers and liability
Our software is provided as is and as available, without warranties, to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability for claims relating to a product is limited to what you paid us for that product in the three months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute that is not resolved between us directly, you and SheetGenius, Inc. agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Mateo County, California.
This does not take away consumer rights that the law where you live gives you and does not let you waive.
